Rudolf Diesel working at MAN invented the diesel engine over 100 years ago and ever since MAN have been at the forefront of diesel engine innovation, design and production. Today's engine range is a far cry from Rudolf’s original design incorporating the very latest high pressure common rail injection, multi stage turbo charging and state of the art electronic management systems. All engines meet the latest emission standards IMO Tier 2 and most medium and heavy duty engines are available classified.

Broad Range

MAN's range includes 6 cylinder inline, V8, V10 and V12 engines with power ratings to suite leisure and light commercial, medium duty commercial and heavy duty applications. Offering some of the industry’s best power to weight ratios and compact operating envelops they are the engine of choice for the world's top yacht and work boat builders.

Light duty range: 730hp to 1800hp
Medium duty range: 400hp to 1400hp
Heavy duty range: 258hp to 900hp

On board safety

MAN's Monitoring and Diagnostic System (MMDS) continuously monitors and records important engine data. If a status critical to engine safety is reached an alarm is triggered and engine power is automatically reduced by 25%. All alarm reports are stored in the MMDS diagnostic unit for future reference by MAN technicians who access it via computer. This enables more efficient fault diagnosis and fault rectification.

Gold Standard

MAN Gold Standard is the quality certificate that benefits shipyards and owners alike. It is awarded only to private operated vessels which satisfy the strictest quality requirements on installation and tuning of the engine system. This means greater security for the vessel owner and an extended warranty of up to 5 years on major components.

Service & Support

Our MAN factory trained engineers are available for service and repair work world wide and our parts department despatch all around the globe. Our workshops specialise in the overhaul of MAN engines and our dynamometer test cell is equipped to test all MAN engines including the latest fully electronic common rail models.
