Golden Arrow Marine Hails Seaworks 2015 A Success

Golden Arrow Marine had the most successful year to date at this year’s Seawork International; the largest growing commercial boat show in Southampton, UK, this June, with a new stand location to boot.

On display was a wide range of high quality commercial products attracting a continuous flow of visitors interested in engines, gearboxes, thrusters, stabilisers, outboard motors and generators. Brands included Moteurs Baudouin, Volvo Penta, Perkins, Torqeedo, Evinrude Multifuel, ZF, Quick and TRAC.

Making its UK debut was the NEW Moteurs Baudouin M26.3 common rail fully electronic diesel engine and the IPS system from Volvo Penta, where visitors could board a demonstration boat, helping to understand the unique capabilities of the forward-facing propulsion system and joystick docking. These were very well received with a strong interest from the boat building and operators sector.A number of confirmed sales were achieved at the show from survey and fishing vessel operators, indicating this show is a must to reach a diverse mix of potential, new and established clients from the UK and overseas.

Martin Bizzell, Engineering Director said “This is the fastest and largest growing commercial marine and workboat quayside event in Europe, with an increase of visitors attending from all over the world year on year. It is vital to our business to make an impact. Our new location worked extremely well with the right mix of quality products on display. To secure valuable sales at the show was a great achievement and indicates the importance of this event, which currently nothing else can match this. We are sure additional orders will follow making it potentially our best ever Seawork.”

Seawork International will next open in its new home in Mayflower Park in Southampton 14, 15, 16 June 2016
