Golden Arrow Marine Apprentices Attend Volvo Penta’s First Ever Apprentice Graduation
Golden Arrow Marine is proud to celebrate a significant milestone after two of our apprentices attended the very first Volvo Penta Apprentice Graduation ceremony, held in Warwick.
The event marked the successful completion of Volvo Penta’s inaugural apprentice programme and recognised the achievements of the first cohort of apprentices to graduate. In total, 13 apprentices from both the marine and industrial sectors completed the programme, with Golden Arrow Marine proudly represented by two of our own apprentices.
A Landmark Moment for Volvo Penta
The graduation ceremony represents an important step forward for Volvo Penta’s commitment to developing the next generation of highly skilled engineers.
Bringing together apprentices from across the UK, the event celebrated the hard work, dedication and technical knowledge gained throughout the programme. Graduates have completed extensive training combining practical workshop experience with classroom-based learning, equipping them with the skills needed to support customers and maintain Volvo Penta products to the highest standards.
As the first ever graduation of its kind, the ceremony highlighted the growing importance of apprenticeships in helping address the future skills needs of the marine and industrial engineering industries.
Proud to Support Future Marine Engineers
At Golden Arrow Marine, investing in apprentices is an important part of our long-term commitment to delivering exceptional engineering services.
Having two apprentices graduate as part of Volvo Penta’s first ever cohort is an achievement that reflects both their dedication and the support provided throughout their training.
Our apprentices have developed valuable experience working alongside our experienced Volvo Penta engineers, learning everything from routine servicing and diagnostics through to complex repairs and engine installations. Combining real-world experience with manufacturer-led training ensures they are equipped with the latest technical knowledge and best practices.
Investing in the Future
The marine industry continues to evolve with new technologies, advanced propulsion systems and increasingly sophisticated diagnostic tools. Supporting apprenticeships helps ensure the next generation of engineers is ready to meet these challenges while continuing to deliver the high standards our customers expect.
Golden Arrow Marine has always believed that developing talented engineers from the beginning of their careers is one of the best ways to build a stronger future for both our business and the wider marine industry.
Congratulations to Our Apprentices
We would like to congratulate both of our apprentices on reaching this fantastic milestone and thank Volvo Penta for organising such a memorable event.
Being part of the very first Volvo Penta Apprentice Graduation is something they will always be able to look back on with pride. Their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm throughout the programme have been outstanding, and we look forward to seeing their careers continue to develop as valued members of the Golden Arrow Marine team.
We are excited to continue supporting apprenticeships and helping train the next generation of highly skilled marine engineers.
