As Golden Arrow Marine celebrate our 90th anniversary, we made it to the Channel Islands where we visited General and Marine in Guernsey and Seapower Marine in Jersey.
From crossing the channel by ferry with our retro van, to meeting some of the leading names in local marine engineering, this leg of the Heritage Tour was all about sharing knowledge, strengthening partnerships, and proudly flying the Volvo Penta dealer flag. Both stops gave us a chance to see how other trusted dealers operate, swap stories from the workshop, and highlight just how far our network and legacy have come over the past nine decades.
Our first stop was General and Marine in Guernsey, where we discussed all things marine engineering, from propulsion systems and parts supply, to the challenges and opportunities of operating in a busy island marina. It was a fantastic opportunity to see how another established engineering business runs its operation, and to celebrate the shared commitment to service excellence that defines the Volvo Penta brand.
Next, we visited Seapower Marine in Jersey, a company with deep roots in the island’s boating community. From workshop insights to customer service stories, we gained valuable perspective on how they support a wide variety of leisure and commercial vessels using genuine Volvo Penta parts and service.
If you are in need of any genuine Volvo Penta parts remember that we stock Volvo Penta parts on our website and at our showrooms around the south coast.
