Dear Customers, your safety is our top priority. We are therefore informing you about a possible safety risk in connection with the batteries of our outboard motors “Travel” and “Ultralight”.

Owing to a possible leak in the battery case, it cannot be ruled out that water may penetrate into the battery case. A corresponding risk exists in particular when a leaky battery is completely or partially immerged in water, in that more water may penetrate into the battery case. If water penetrates into the case, it may under unfavourable conditions cause a chemical reaction within the battery case, resulting in a fire and/or bursting of the battery case. There is a risk of injury!
