Genuine Parts
We cannot stress the importance of using genuine original manufacturer parts and accessories. Just because a non-genuine filter looks the same externally you will be amazed at the difference internally with the non-genuine filters having lower density filter element, no relief valve and incorrect gauge material allowing the filter to deform. All can lead to accelerated engine wear and possibly catastrophic failure. It’s too big a risk for a few pence saving on non-genuine parts.
Warranty, Remanufacture & Exchange
Genuine manufacturer inboard engine parts and accessories are designed, developed and manufactured to the same quality level as the original engines. That means high-quality products with a warranty, where each component is original and made to match. Genuine Volvo Penta Parts that are supplied and fitted by our Volvo Penta trained engineers come with two years warranty. Parts supplied for you or your engineer to fit are covered by a 12 month warranty. All other manufacturer parts are covered by 12 month warranty.
Genuine Volvo Penta marine parts include remanufactured exchange components and repair and overhaul kits, allowing you to choose the best solution for your engine without compromising on quality or warranty.
The Volvo Penta Exchange system gives you access to a comprehensive range of remanufactured components — from injectors and turbos to long blocks and IPS drive units — offering a cost-effective alternative to repair and overhaul. All components are completely restored to new condition and meet the same stringent quality and safety requirements as new parts. Exchange components are kept current with technical design changes and are offered with the same warranty as new genuine Volvo Penta Parts.
