The Torqeedo Ultralight 403 & 403C is specifically designed for use with kayaks, canoes and very light boats. The name says it all, the Ultralight is the lightest
outboard on the market at 8.9kg including battery. With IP67 rated waterproof connections and components the Torqeedo Ultralight can go anywhere your kayak takes you.
With an equivalent power output of 1hp it is perfect to assist you when paddling against wind and tide or extending your endurance on a long trip. Anglers will also find it perfect for quiet and controlled propulsion leaving both hands free for fishing. Enabling the perfect trolling speed but with the power in reserve to deliver a boat speed of up to 10km/hr depending on boat.
The intelligent on-board computer provides all the information you need on battery capacity and available range clearly on the remote control display. The remote control includes a magnetic safety stop key and allows for conveniently located figure tip selection of forward and reverse gear and speed control.
The Torqeedo Ultralight is supplied with a universal mounting bracket that fits most kayaks and canoes. Function include steering, tilting and auto-kickup, with easy integration into the kayak steering system.
Torqeedo’s intelligent lithium batteries include inbuilt computer monitoring and are fully waterproof and marine complient.
The Torqeedo Ultralight 403 is supplied with a 320Wh high performance lithium battery with standard mains charger.
The Ultralight 403C has a 915Wh high performance lithium battery with mains charger. The larger battery provides almost three times the range for a small increase in weight of 1.8kg.
