Golden Arrow Marine, together with specialist company STT Emtec AB, are now introducing an effective solution to greatly reduce NOx emissions from high speed marine diesel engines on the UK and Irish marine market.
“We signed an agreement with Golden Arrow Marine end of last year, and are happy to be at the Seawork International 2016 exhibition with a demo set up” says Glenn Berglund, Marketing and Sales Manager at STT Emtec.
The system uses Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and is intended for applications where emission demands are stringent.
The system named SCRmarine is a clean tech system meeting future marine exhaust emission regulations already today on existing engines.
“We believe strongly in this system, and reducing pollutants to the environment a substantial contribution to air quality is provided, reducing health risks” says Martin Bizzell, Engineering Director at Golden Arrow Marine.
Its robustness and efficiency is based upon modular, innovative solutions and fully automatic control and monitoring system.
“The system is cost efficient due to the combination of well proven serial production parts in new configurations” says Anton Andersson, sales representative at STT Emtec.
The modular, flexible and small dimensioned system increases the numbers of possible installations, from small boats to big vessels, and engine power rates up to 1000 kW.
